I could not start the balckberry MDS connection service on my BES Server.
The error is: Error 2: the system cannot find the file specified

Solution:

This is due to corrupt jvm.dll . Uninstall BES, uninstall java and reinstall Blackberry Enterprise Server. note: only reinstalling Blackberry Enterprise Server won't fix this issue.

My BlackBerry simulators crashed today and i am unable to fix it by doing a reinstall.

BlackBerry simulators Error:

Error inside JVM: access violation reading from 0x11590cc0

Solution:
uninstall BlackBerry simulator, besure to delete the leftover *.dmp files from Research In Motion Programs Files directory.

Reinstall BlackBerry simulator

Error on BES server:
MAPIMailbox::CreateSearchFolder - Open folder failed (0x80070005) failed

Solution:

In my case, BES admin account could not open the folder on Exchange 2007 Server.
make sure you run the command-let below. Replace besadmin with domain\besadmin

Get-mailboxserver | add-adpermission –user “BESAdmi –accessrights ExtendedRight–extendedrights Send-As, Receive-As, ms-Exch-Store-Admin
